I have recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a bachelor of science degree in Equine Behaviour, Health and Welfare with a 2:1. I have also completed a 6 month internship with the British Horse Society as a Welfare Development Officer.

I have volunteered at Cranleigh School Equestrian for my Duke of Edinburgh award every weekend for a year and a half from the age of 14. I then started work at a local livery yard to me for 3 and a half years before starting university. As my course at university is equine based I also worked once a week on the yard at the university during term time in the first year of my degree

I have plenty of experience around horses, currently I am in my second year studying Equine Behaviour Health and Welfare at Nottingham Trent University and am seeking work over the summer months. I have experience working on a yard with many different types of horses, this started at Cranleigh Schools equestrian centre, before moving to work at a local yard to me with a variety of horses, from show jumpers, to polo ponies and even a couple of home-bred foals.

I have had experience in riding a variety of horses, and I would class myself as an intermediate rider. I have shared my horse since the age of 16, and he was quite green at first but I do not really have experience with problem horses or starting horses. I mostly hack out now , occasionally I do school and jump. And since starting university I have picked up a number of valuable skills in lessons on the flat, and when jumping.
