I have a level 3 qualification in Animal Care, one of my modules included horse and pony care.

Yard work for G&T racing, based in Marton. Mucking out, putting on & removing rugs, putting horses on and off walkers. Providing hay & feed. Have completed a adult horse care course with Brampton stables.

I worked with G&T racing for 8 months, mainly Saturday and Sunday mornings mucking out & providing extra yard duties, they have over 40 thoroughbred race horses so mucking out/turning out was to be performed quickly and to a high standard. I sadly had to leave the position due to moving house so am looking to do a similar job and would love to learn more about grooming and general care. I have riding lessons several times a month. I rode/mucked out my aunt's horses as a child.

I have ridden a variety of horses, as a child mainly thoroughbreds, as an adult I have lessons on schooling ponies but would be confident on any horse or pony as long as it is 13hands or more due to my height. I am confident with flatwork and I am currently learning to jump.
