Horses have always been a way of life for me. I grew up in rural New Zealand and was riding before I could walk. Having an extremely horsey mother my sister and I had ponies from toddlers, and always had ponies until we left home (age 16). We were involved in pony club, one day eventing, showjumping, then as teenagers we began to focus on dressage and competed in low level dressage. I have also done some handling of young horses, with my Aunt who lives on a high country station and would muster yearlings which we'd then work on with her during summer breaks. We also bread Welsh Mountain ponies, and have worked with handling young foals from day one.
Schooling, hacking, flat work, X-country and showjumping, dressage (not high level), trekking
