Qualifications
I completed my GCSEs with three As, 6 Bs, and three Cs including two As in English, and a B in maths. I'm also a fluent Welsh speaker. I am hoping to finish my current course with either a Distinction or Distinction*.
Equine Work Experience
I have previously volunteerd at a local ridinh school helping with RDA work as well as lessons for children and adults. I'm currently doing (finishing on the 30th of June) a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management where we have to work on the yard during the week and on weekend days. The work is general yard duties such as mucking out, turning out, putting horses on the horse walker etc. On this course I have also worked at competitions including the Pet Plan Area Festival.
Specialities
Flatwork is what I do best and what I've been mostly doing for almost 6 years. I seem to be naturally good at riding and lungeing hot and tense horses. I've had experience riding a large mixture of horses from hanoverians to OTTBs.
Type of Ride Work
I have mostly done flatwork with some show jumping too. I currently have two flatwork lessons a week and happily work all types of horses.
Competition Details
Sadly I haven't had the opportunity to compete but am looking forward to changing that in the future.
