I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Grown up with horses and own an ID xTB. Have worked on many different yards (Stud yard, large livery yard, dressage yard). I'm confindent in handling all horses from foals to stallions.
Had my own horses for 10+ years. Currently own an IDxTB mare who can be a handful at times. I've worked at a stud yard before, where horses for racing were bred and often sold onto Quatar. I've also worked at a busy livery yard which had between 70 - 80 horses all ranging from kids ponies to fit event horses. I was often left as sole charge when working on busy livery yard. I've also worked on a dressage yard for the last 8 years where there's horses training up to Grand Prix level, there was also a variety of horses from my bosses sons litttle pony to a clients 18.2hh warm blood. Again I was often left in charge of the yard the days I worked. I'm used to handling lively youngsters, fit event/dresssage horses and stallions. I have also clipped before, but only ever done a full clip.
I'm mainly hack out, but I have also done a few low level dressage competitions. And done a few jumping clinics. As well as going on long 'fun rides'. I've ridden a variety of horses. From my mare who will cow leap at her own shadow, to a section d stallion. I am confident in riding in large groups, and in large open spaces. I'm confident lunging as well.
