Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
Drivers license (incl. horsebox). Extended First Aid, In-Company Safety Advisor, etc. In January 2009 left a career as a Coördinator Human Resources Development at a leading sportsware company in Holland (900 employees), I have all the qualifications in this field as well as the management skills. So apart from the hands on mentality on all kind of outdoor labour, I could also take care of a yards accountancy, planning and management, as long as it is together with Ingrid.
Live in position preferred with jobseeker 1026504. I am capable to do all kinds of stableduties, yard maintenance, grooming/horsecare, handling youngstock etc. As a couple we are a strong team with hands on mentality to get any job done.
Hands-on type. Up and around horses from my earliest childhood, as well as in my teens. In 2009 I have been working 7 days a week at Ingrids little private breeding, training and dealing yard, refreshing and building up my experience (starting adult working life I lost track of it for a while) and for 2 years we worked together as Yardmanager and Groundsman on a yard with approx.40 horses esp. working with youngstock. The last 4 years working on a private yard with hunters. I am fully confident and competent in handling youngstock, bringing horses in and out, lunging, tacking, pre- and after ridingcare, washing, clipping, taking care of injuries, exercising etc. etc. Have since been grooming for competition, stallionshows etc. This amongst all the other (maintenance)jobs on a yard. Used to work with tractor and farm machinery. Together with jobseeker 1026504
I learned that I have a special feel of how to handle and to ease a horse that is extremely scared or nervous, like getting youngsters used to new experiences s.a. farrier, horsebox, etcetera. Furtheron I have an above average knowledge of medical issues in both humans and animals. In case of locomotive disorder, lameness or injury in most cases I can pinpoint the problem and try to relieve it with special treatment such as massage, pressure therapy a.s.o.
Experience in ground work, lunging, assisting in breaking a horse, assisting the rider as a leadsman with the young horses at shows, exersising etc. I myself do not apply to a job as a rider, I leave the riding to my better half (jobseeker 1026504), although based on my experience I could perfectly hack a horse as well or bringing out second horses on a hunt. In my resume more!
My experience in equine competition is not only limited to my childhood-days. The last 4 years I did get a lot of experience in all kind of riding, especially hacking/hunting.
Ingrid and I can start almost rightaway (1 month notice). Together, I think, we can offer you a lot! And yes, if we like the work and if the work likes us, we would like to stay much longer than the average period in equine work.
We have a complete household and also a well behaved dog (Large Munsterlander).
