My family produce county level show ponies which i have been apart of riding in the ring and schooling them all my life. Preparation of hunters NH racehorses attending meets up and down the country. Eventers a range of novices up to 3* now 4* horses. I started in 2008 with polo ponies. My first two seasons being a part of a very large and successful team having to work under the head girl and with others. From there I moved on to work for professional players having sole charge of their string.Continuing my polo experience I have lived and worked the 5 winters in Argentina and speak almost fluent Spanish. 2012/13 winter was spent hunting and teamchasing for a private yard. Child Experience- Whilst i was freelancing i spent 2 weeks in America looking after 3 children, ages 3, 8 and 10. In Argentina i looked after childrens ponies and involved them in understanding about their ponies welfare.
Firstly I love to make the most of what i look after.I am very conciensous about turnout.A horse has to be suitably turned out for the job its doing & same goes for the rider!I like to get my hands dirty but not the yard. Im reliable& trustworthy &likes to work efficiently yet thoroughly. On a personal note Ilike to keep my head down and get on with my work but have a good sense of humour and consider my team especially when they have the same values.
Schooling, lunging, long reining, work on the gallops, roadwork. Xc schooling. Jumping. Polo ponies: sets, singling and some stick and balling and chukkas.
Most recently have competed in teamchases going round the intermediates. Completed every time. Have won our last 2 pairs hunter trials. Unfortunately due to having been very busy during the polo seasons I didn't get the time to compete at all. Though prior to my years spent in polo I successfully rode show ponies and m&ms in a lot of county level shows including the major society championship shows.
