I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
I am currently the technician for Equine Lameness at the Texas A&M large animal hospital
I have 18 years experience as a dressage rider and competitior, successfully earning my USDF Bronze Medal, and training horses through the Prix St. George level. In Virginia I managed a warmblood breeding farm with 80+ horses including 2 stallions. There I was in charge of foaling out mares, handling young stock and handling stallions for collection. After that I became head trainer and manager at a private dressage facility in northern Virginia. In 2009 I moved to Texas to become the veterinary technician at Texas A&M Equine Lameness. Here I gained a huge education in equine health management and veterinary care. I also bought my own farm and began my successful small training and instruction business.
I am an upper level dressage rider and trainer who also has low level eventing experience and interest. I have a master's degree in Equine Biomechanics and have been a veterinary technician at the large animal hospital for 3 years
My horses and students are successful and winning through the Preliminary level of eventing and third level dressage.
