Equine Technician 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Easton College Equine Centre as an Equine Technician. With continued growth and development, this is a fantastic time to become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team committed to excellence in equine education and welfare.
In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in supporting the practical learning experience of our students. You’ll work closely with both staff and learners to demonstrate key skills, supervise yard duties, and help maintain a professional, industry-standard environment.
Alongside supporting teaching and learning, you will be responsible for a range of duties including equine husbandry, feeding, mucking out, health monitoring, record keeping, and exercising horses, ensuring the highest standards of horse care and welfare are consistently achieved.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable team player who thrives in a busy, practical environment. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential, as you’ll be working collaboratively across the Equine Centre.
This role includes working weekends, bank holidays, and college holidays, with participation in an on-call rota and supporting commercial yard activities.
If you are passionate about equine care, enjoy working in a practical learning environment, and want to contribute to the development of future industry professionals, we would love to hear from you.
