currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I have been riding horses since I was 7 years old. I always had a passion for these animals. From age 7 to 13 I was attending basic schools for riding. From age 13 I turned to show-jumping and I was competing till I was 18. Then I had to leave sport and horses which was not easy, as a result i put on a lot of weight :) After 9 years of break I got to own 2 horses (saved them from starvation at a very abandoned farm). both horses were wild stallions with problems. I managed to become friends with them through a lot of love and work. One of them was pretty tall and massive. So I even broke him under the saddle since both of us were in the same weight category. At the moment I am working with another 2 horses.
I am a very honest, responsible and reliable person. When working in a stable horses and their well-being always come first for me. I noticeb fast if the horse is feeling unhappy, unwell or if something is bothering it. I do like to keep the stable clean and tidy. I could work alone or in a team. The only thing that might bother my future employers is that there is a lot of me. But let me asure you, that does not stand in my way when it come to horses.
I have the knowledge of flat work, grid work and show-jumping work. Back in my riding days I had the chance to ride all types of horses. But at the moment I am overweight and after a long break of riding so I am not sure that I would be suitable for continuous riding. Unless the horses are big, well-built, and have strong, trained back muscles. Despite that I am able and keen on training horses from the ground, lunging, or I could even be as an assisting hand or assisting eye for other riders.
At the age of 14 I became a national youngster champion in showjumping in my country riding my own horse. I continued competing up till I became 18. I had experience in show-jumping courses up to 130 cm and couple of jump-offs that had fences up to 140 cm. At that point of my life I was forced to take a break from riding to get a bachelor degree (in economics). Along side of my showjumping career I also was working a lot as a groom and rider for my trainer.
