Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
In 2010 I completed my NVQ level 1 in horse care at the riding school I was having lessons at.
I currently work on a dealers yard where I have sole charge on the weekends. I am responsible for mucking out, feeding, bring in/turnout, haying up, tacking up, riding/lunging and all other general yard duties.
I have been around horses for most of my life and I started riding lessons at 8 years old. Every weekend I would stay at the riding school to help to muck out, bring in and tack up the horses for lessons, turn out, groom, change rugs etc. I completed my work experience placement on a racing yard. I was mostly responsible for the yard work but also hacked out the horses and helped to hose down and tack/untack them when needed. For the last 6 years I have owned my own horse who I bought as a yearling so I am very used to all of the daily duties and care involved with looking after horses. I worked on a riding school each weekend for a year. I was solely responsible for feeding, turn out/in, mucking out, haying up, brushing up and checking field waters. I spent a couple of months working on a riding school where I was part of a team who all worked together to ensure all jobs were completed and that lessons ran on time. On a Tuesday I was sole charge for the late night.
