BHS Stage One
I suck at examinations. I have a serious issue with nerves in tense situations. Despite being taught by BHS Fellows - and heavily complimented on my riding abilities...I cant pass the riding exams :(
BHS Stage 1
My equine experience began with a livery yard in Sussex. I started as a general groom and farm hand. Responsible for daily mucking out and general yard duties. I was then head groom and was responsible for the daily planning and running of the yard. I then went to a BHS approved training centre. Working on my riding and progressing through BHS exams. I have been told I ride very calmly and quietly, while also having understanding to develop the horses I ride. I carried out all normal yard duties as well as riding daily. My last step of progression was to a private dressage yard in Suffolk, where I spent a large amount of time - working independently to fulfil the needs of a twenty two box yard. No riding here, due to the owner doing all his own riding. Now worked under my own limited company Hoof N' It Equestrian and Agricultural Services.
Quite a competent rider, despite now not riding for a year.
