I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Level 3 diploma in equine management BHS stage 1
BHS Stage 1
I have been riding since I was 4 and owned my own pony from age 10-15 but sadly sold her as I grew too big. After working on a show jumping yard for over a year I decided to study for my level 3 diploma in equine management at Writtle College in 2014. From there I worked at various yards before finding a working pupil position and gaining my BHS stage 1. I then travelled Australia and got stuck there for 3 years due to Covid. I am now looking to find a position where I can work whilst gaining the rest of my BHS stages at least to level 3 (AI) as I intend on becoming an instructor. I’d ideally also like to find somewhere where I can utilise my knowledge and competence to work up towards a senior role; therefore somewhere with career progression would be incredible. I look forward to hearing from you.
