Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Most experience is with polo having spent the past 14 months following the Australian,New Zealand and most recently the UK polo season working for players at differing levels, from low goal to high goal professional players.It is a physically demanding and highly responsible role being in charge of a minimum of 8 horses at a time, carrying out day-to-day tasks of caring for the horses and keeping them fit and healthy.It is a role where a can do attitude is a must, where you are able to work by yourself as well as working well as a team.Required skills would include being a confident rider,able to school horses for polo,excellent attention to detail, bandaging, turnout,knowledge of horse management and basic veterinary care. I have experience of being in sole charge of a yard.Spent many hours helping out at my local riding centre helping with children's lessons, taking hacks out and general duties of running a busy yard. I have previously volunteered at a local RDA centre.
