I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)

I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Currently the Assistant Manager at a yard with approx. 35 horses, with 6 - 12 of those on full livery at any one time with additional ad hoc services (turn out/bring in, feeding, holiday cover). Responsible for all yard duties, liaising with clients and services, grooming, harrowing arenas, yard and farm maintenance and cleanliness, managing stock etc. Experience prior to my current role includes: Thoroughbred stud hand, care of FEI level dressage horses, and volunteer work in riding schools including RDA work. I have worked in the UK, Australia and volunteered on a Warmblood stud in South Africa.
Level-headed attitude and leads with a kind hand, happy and willing to do any job, strong customer service skills, hard working self-starter, able to work in a team or alone, fast learner
I do ride (walk/trot/occasional canter) however can be a nervous rider and would prefer a non-ridden role. I am working to ease my nerves and improve my riding.
