I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

Road Safety BHS Stage 1 - Theory and Riding BHS Stage 2 - Theory, Riding and Lunge Maths & English Functional Skills Level 2 Arts Award - Distinction
BHS Stage 1 BHS Stage 2
I have done an apprenticeship with horses where I completed my BHS Stage 1 & 2 theory and riding and was working towards my Stage 3 and PTT. I finished my apprenticeship and then moved to a sall competition yard where I did general yard duties, caring for wounds/administrating medication, exercising horses and also helping out at shows when needed. I would like to continue my training to become an instructor.
Have done my BHS Stage 1 & 2, but haven't been working towards any qualifications in a couple years. Have continued to ride, but mainly hacking or helping friends with their horses as I have not been in employment with horses for a couple of years.
Have only done very small shows and not frequently.
