I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

I have been around horses since I was born, and I am coming into my tenth year of working with them. I have always been in the stud industry, starting off at a competition stud/dealing year at the end of 2011. In 2012 I done yearling prep at Meon Valley Stud which is where I found my love for working with thoroughbreds. In 2013 I was offered a full time job at Norman Court Stud, where I spent 3 and a half years doing everything from foaling to yard maintenance. August 2016 I done a month on an eventing yard, to cover while they were short staffed. Here I was mucking out, getting horses ready for competitions, plaiting and grooming at an event. In January 2017 I started at Watership Down Stud, owned by the Lloyd - Webbers, where I currently still am. Since being here I have spent four foaling seasons here now and I am about to go into my fourth prep.
Although I have always done stud work, but I’m also willing to learn new skills in other areas of the equine industry
I am very happy working on my own or in a team.
Plait, clip, trim, lunge, long rein and can turn my hand to almost anything.
Drive a 3.5t lorry (looking at doing my HGV later this year or early next year)
Take sole charge if necessary
Handle strong, fit yearling colts and fillies
Handle fit competition horses
Confident and happy to speak to owners/clients
