I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I have a Level 2 Diploma in Horse care and a Level 3 Diploma in Equine management which I got distinction's throughout in both. I also have my Stage 1 BHS Care and part of my Stage 1 Ride. As well as currently studying a BSc in equine science of which I am in my second year.
BHS Stage 1
I currently work on a small livery yard of which used to hold 60 horses but now only has around 9. I carry out normal yard duties and ride. This is either alone or with another employee. The horses have been riding school types and competition types.
I have around 5-6 years experience with horses. I have studied a Level 3 Diploma in Equine management at Shuttleworth college in Bedford and got a distinction throughout. I now study BSc in Equine Science at Sparsholt university. I currently work at South medburn farm part time of which I have done for over 3 years now. I have also completed work experience at rehab yards and at Hughes dressage. Sadly due to yard closure I'm looking for some yard work from the beginning of April. I'm not looking to freelance but to be employed part time on a weekend permanent basis. This of which may sometimes need to be flexible due to uni commitments. Although I can provide extra dates during term holidays and over the summer, of which I would happily work a 5 day week. I've been employed part time for over 3 years, working full time during the summer and can provide excellent references. Ideally looking to be within a 30 min drive from WD25 area. Temporary job abroad would be considered(may - sep)
Having worked on a busy 5 star livery yard for over 3 years now I have gained various skills. I'm capable of mucking out beds to a high standard, presenting horses for lessons and shows although I have not plaited in a while. Capable of turning out and bringing in. I am currently riding horses at a stage 2 level. When the yard was at full capacity I was looking after 7 horses as takeovers when in although have looked after 12 horses by myself when short staff, now look after 7/9 in sole charge.
I would say I'm currently riding at around a stage 2 level. I'm happy to hack out and exercise horses in a school and would be happy and willing to be challenged within my riding to improve.
I have never competed personally. Although I have helped clients at my previous yard get ready for show, this including grooming to a high standard and plaiting although I have not done this for a while due to no current horses of clients being competed. I would be very happy to practice my skills and get back into preparation for shows and would be willing to compete myself with some help and guidance.
