I have experience working with stallions, mares and foals, youngsters, including breaking young ponies. I have also brought on and work with ex-racers of my own. I am happy with any yard work or exercising if required. I have brought on young horses and competed in county-level showing and up to novice level dressage with animals I have started from scratch. I am currently working towards a Masters in Law but am doing this part time so am able to work full time, alongside working my own horse.

Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.

Haggis Farm: Polo yard, livery and riding school. My duties include; riding and exercising, loose schooling, tacking up, mucking out, grooming, assisting in lessons, bandaging, poo picking, chukkas. Elysian Horses: SJ stud where my duties included; caring for/handling youngsters/stallions/broodmares, attending competitions as well as all general duties. Greenlands Livery: At this yard I carried out general yard duties, attended events and competitions, tack cleaned, took competition horses XC schooling etc. Maldonado Polo: Attended/groomed at polo matches, rode sets and exercised daily, played chukkas, loose schooled, mucked out, groomed, loaded lorry, looked after 5 year old, tack cleaned, bandaged. HillTop Equestrian Centre: A busy riding school at which I was a groom/rider. My duties included general care of the horses, riding, taking youngsters SJ and XC schooling, receiving and helping clients also taking bookings and handling money, maintaining equipment and pasture care etc.
I am a very conscientious and observant person, I am reliable and trustworthy and I work well as part of a team. I am positive and have a good sense of humor. I have great people skills and good customer service, I am always polite and like to be well turned out.
Continued Experience: GOW Equine: A busy Pre-Training/Rehab yard near Newmarket. My main duties included mucking out, feeding, grooming, work riding and general daily care of the horses. We also had several Thoroughbred yearlings from the sales, 2 and 3 year olds also.
During a three month holiday at a western pleasure riding ranch in Burdett, New York. I trained a project horse, from the field. Worked with her and eventually competed with her in Hunter/Jumpers classes up to 2’6. The level before the US A circuit.
