Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. over 30 years of riding/competing/training young horses When I had a yard of my own, my ex husband and I started and produced a small amount of young horses for sale including one which went on to jump at WEG. We worked from the same place for about 10 years with a professional outlook towards clients & the horses in our care.
As a level 3 Coach I have a professional responsibility to keep up with good practice and I value my good reputation.
showjumping/competing,young horses, driving horsebox I’ve recently been driving HGV class 1 for just over 1 year. Previous to that I have worked with horses all my life. I used to have my own stables up until approximately 12 years ago when I competed mine and owners horses in young horse classes up to 1.30m Since then I have coached & ridden on a freelance basis. I’m a Level 3 BS Coach. I last completed my horse 2 years ago. During that Summer we won a newcomers at Hickstead.
flatwork/showjumping/dressage/hunters I’ve often been given tricky or hot horses to ride over the years because I seem to be able to work with them and have patience. I’ve started quite a few including stallions and worked for many years training 4 year olds upwards. I love working on the flat and have competed my horse and a friend’s horse up to elementary dressage. I’ve schooled hunters for The Puckeridge Hunt to help keep them in top condition. My main interest has always been jumping.
competed young horses on the national circuit. Qualifying for national finals, and been placed and won at the finals. Competed older horses up to 1.40m Young Riders was a long time ago! I won and was placed including at Hickstead. Then I spent a lot of years working with young horses Over the years I have qualified my own horses a couple of times for HOYS in Newcomers & Grade C I was lucky enough to have a professional rider in my yard years ago jumping up to GP so helping him was great
