Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.

Feeding, stall cleaning, grooming, schooling
I have been riding for 18 years now and have been running my own small 7 acre, 4 horse farm for the past 9 years, where I am responsible for everything from stall mucking to feeding to property maintenance to farrier and vet visits. I was a working student at Brookwood Farm Sporthorses in Georgia for approximately 1 year until I moved up to Kentucky for college. I've since transferred and then graduated from Averett University in Danville, V. My background is primarily in stock horses and hunters, but I have worked with a wide variety of breeds and tried many disciplines ranging from barrel racing to western pleasure to dressage. I have also competed in hippology and horse bowl through the Rockdale County 4H horse club, and I was on the Georgia 4H National Hippology team in 2017. I participated in the FFA Horse Judging CDE in 2017 as well and placed 3rd in our region individually. I am always looking to try new things and learn more about horse care and the horse industry!
Grooming; barn and property maintenance; stall and trailer cleaning; administering oral medication and IM injections; show prep; lunging and long lining; basic first aid and healthcare; touch-up trimming; tack cleaning
I am comfortable flatting just about anything short of completely green horses. I specialize in working with older problem horses or those that need a tune-up! Western and English are both good.
I have showed in the local hunters, ranch riding, and dressage circuits (though I've been out of the game for a few years!), as well as attended a few eventing competitions
