Will provide cover letter/professional resume/equestrian resume/professional references, including pictures and videos upon request.
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
Natural Horsemanship. USDF 4th level. United States Pony Clubs HB rated. USEF Training level. I have delivered many foals and successfully showed young warmbloods at their breed inspections. 8 years as a professional horse trainer, riding instructor, translator, and working student. Lifetime of caring for, training, rehabbing, and breeding my own horses.
I use Natural Horsemanship methods to start young horses. The horses are calm and do not even buck the first time they are ridden. I am also a USDF 4th level competitive dressage rider, and fluent in Spanish. My specialty is warmbloods.
Over the past decade, I have been a groom/working student for two large scale Grand Prix level Dressage trainers in Colorado, started and trained young Hanoverians, and currently start and train Belgian Warmbloods of all ages and experience levels. I have 8 years of professional experience as a Dressage horse trainer, groom/working student, and translator at several barns across the country. I am currently showing my own horse at USDF 4th level, on track to compete the PSG by the end of summer 2022. I started riding as an Eventer as a child, and have competed through USEF Training level. I am Pony Club rated through HB, and taught riding for years through Pony Club and later in a professional schooling program. I spent a year down in Wellington, Florida, learning from the horse Capitol of the world, and have extensive training in natural horsemanship.
Horses that I train go quietly with or without tack, in or out of the arena, performing traditional dressage movements with ease. I have a background starting young horses, retraining and rehabbing horses from the racing and dressage industries, and I do especially well with young, sensitive, hot, and/or “problem” horses. Rehabbing suspensory injuries is a specialty. I use a combination of classical Dressage, free riding, cross training, massage therapy, and natural horsemanship to ride and teach.
I am currently competing at 4th level, schooling PSG. I have started dozens of young horses and can provide videos, references, and letters of recommendation. I am comfortable and experienced with stallions, mares, and geldings. I start young horses under saddle using quiet and gentle methods. I use a combination of classical Dressage, free riding, cross training, and natural horsemanship to ride and teach. I can also build websites and manage online marketing.
