Due to a change in circumstances I'm currently looking for a part time riding role, 4 mornings a week, but can be flexible. I have over 16 years experience within the industry and have produced horses from youngstock up to intermediate. I'm happy to work with all sorts, from happy hackers to fit competition horses. Quiet but firm rider, who can deal with quirks if necessary. Ideally within 30 mins of Newark but happy to travel up to an hour for the right place.
From Showjumping, to showing/eventing and foals through to stallions I have experience in all aspects of the equestrian world. I am looking for my next long term journey where I can spend my days working with the animals I love, and carry out my exceptionally high standards for the right person.
I know every rule down to detail on every class to show in. From how to post on beat, to being in the correct lead, the amount of strides between each jump, flying lead changes, the way your posture is on a horse. Western and English are very different and have different terminology. Hunter jumper need to be well trained in two point position, and how to make sure you do not fall off with your legs, as most communication to the horse is done with your legs. A lot of people think it is the rains.
My little brother is non-verbal Autistic. I help watch him, feed him, help him with what he needs. He has a device called a, “talker,” where he can tell me what he wants and needs. I absolutely love and adore him. I make sure he is taken care of.
Started riding lessons when I was 3 years old and was galloping horses by 6 years old. I know every little detail about horses, how to be safe, how to groom them for a show and bath them. Also, my 4h instructor told me I was his strongest rider and he did make me fearless when I was young. If I got thrown off, I had to get back on and make the horse do what it was supposed to do. Horses test you and feel emotions, but they won’t feel the fear in me as no matter what horse is causing trouble I would get on them because other members would me to scared and make them do what they need to do. They have tried to throw me off but I can ride bareback, gallop bareback, jump bareback, and jump on any horse without a step stool or saddle, whether it’s a tall 17 hand tall Thoroughbred or a quarter horse. Every little detail counts when you are showing and I know all those details. I was Grand Champion at the Fort Worth Junior Life Stock show. I have qualified and placed in District and State show
Hello. I know more than horses than anything else in my life. From how to groom them to feed them and how to kick some butt in the show arena. I was in 4h for 10 years and also a member of the Texas Tech Equestrian Team. I showed Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Western Showmanship, Trail, and Halter as well. I also showed in English Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Hunter Jumper. I also did rodeo as well I competed in Barrels and Polls. I could go on.
I have years of experience in English, Western, and Rodeo. I had private lessons five days a week from my Western or English Instructor. I started out riding western and showing in Western classes as the ones I described above then at 10 years old I got really into showing English and I loved it. I also showed Showmanship, Halter, and English Showmanship. No horse puts fear in me as no matter what quirks the horse has they will know who is boss and do what they are supposed to.
I have won and been first place a numerous 4h competitions. Those competitions I always mostly got first place. I won Grand Champion at the Fort Worth Junior Life Stock Show. I have been first place champion for numerous English classes. I also was on the Texas Tech Equestrian Team. We would practice on a different horse every day bare back. I have won numerous classes and have belt buckle, halter, hundreds of first place ribbons and second place. My 4h instructor said I was his best competitor
