I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

GCSE's- 1 A 4 B's 7 C's Level 3 National Diploma in Horse Management (Merit, Merit, Distinction) C+ Pony Club Test BSc Honours Degree in Equine Science (2:1)
I have completed a BSc honours degree in equine science and am now training part-time as a veterinary physiotherapist. I have an 8 year old Oldenburg X who is currently competing at successfully at elementary and ready tomovr up to medium.
I have been on working yards since the age of four and have always been keen and willing to learn when around horses. When 15 I did two weeks work experience at a private dressage yard and when 17 I did work experience at a private showing/dressage competition yard where I was offered a job at the end of it for my commitment and equine knowledge (this included mostly grooms work and riding). Practical equine management was included in the national diploma I completed. This included such things as; mucking out (straw and shavings), tack cleaning, grooming, haying up, riding, exercising (horse walker, lose schooling, lunging and long reining) and other necessities. I have worked as a groom/rider at professional showjumper Daniel Moseleys yard. I also have experience working with elite dressage stallions at Cyden dressage. I am currently head groom and take sole charge at a hunt yard.
Hard working, punctual, enthusiastic, great sense of humour, caring, willing, experienced, works well in team and very understanding.
I started riding around the age of three and have competed in eventing, dressage, showjumping and showing and enjoy all disciplines. Currently competing in British Dressage at elementary with a horse I have produced myself.
Started competing at 6 on show ponies. At 10 produced a 4 year old 13'2 to nationals in dressage, showjumping and showing. Competition rider at a showing/ dressage yard when 14 winning in British Dressage. Competed at pony club area's in dressage and showjumping. Competed college horse in eventing and dressage. In 2011 won Bishop Burton College's Equine stockperson of the year. Currently have a relatively inexperienced, 8 year old that I am producing to do dressage.
