I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I unfortunately have not had the chance to do any exams in my previous jobs, but would much love to do either my BHS or NVQ qualifications.
I currently teach people to ride, mainly children, i thoroughly enjoy this, but unfortunately it is only on a part time basis at weekends. I am also a groom during the week at a yard in chobham where i am responsible for the daily care of all horses.
At Ham House Stables I worked as a groom and rider for over 2 and a half years. Mucking out, grooming, exercising and schooling of horses, clipping, plaiting, pulling, lunging, long reining and other general duties including some first aid. I then more recently worked at Willow View Farm for a period of 5 months as an event groom. In the summer of 2010 I spent a season on the Longcross Estate, where I was part of a team delivering the highest standard of care and service for a very prestigious client. I currently work at a Dressage and Western riding school and livery yard in Chobham, I am responsible for the daily care and exercise of the liveries and riding school horses.
I am extremely reliable and a very good time keeper with a keen eye for detail. I have a real passion for working to high standards, and believe a job done well is a job well done. I thoroughly enjoy preparing horses for shows and riding as much as i enjoy mucking out or maintaining a good muck heap. I would say my main specialities would be clipping and show prep. I have a good sense of humour and happy to work rain or shine, I am not a fair weather rider.
I have mainly ridden and worked as a Dressage rider and schooled many types of riding school horses and ponies. I have also worked and ridden Eventer's and show jumpers, but have more experience with Dressage. I am also capable of riding Western.
