I am a 20 year USEF/USHJA professional with a long resume of training riders and horses from the most beginner local level to showing at the biggest A shows and taking clients to Florida and qualifying for indoors. I’ve done everything from breaking untouched 10 year old horses for pleasure to training winners of state medal finals and ribbon winners at USEF pony finals and Indoors. Currently located in the research triangle (Raleigh) of North Carolina but willing to relocate for the right fit.
I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)

I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.

I have a BHS S/NVQ Level 2 in Equine care achieved in college as well as vast experience in the equine industry. I have credit grades in Standard Grade/GCSE exams achieved in high school.
Have worked in riding schools, livery yards and private yard in both UK and Ireland and capable of carrying out all yard duties to a high standard. Have given lessons to novice riders. Worked in a husky farm/Fjord trekking centre in Finland taking out riders of various levels, from 1/2hour - 5day excursions. Attended college for 2 years and achieved BHS/NVQ level 2 diploma and my Riding Road Safety in 2010. Have groomed at competitions with Show and polo horses and have lightly competed in breed show classes and showjumping. Have vast experience with many types of horses including show and competition horses, veterans, youngstock, stallions, polo ponies, ex racehorses.
I have been around horses for most of my life and this encouraged me to gain an S/NVQ level 2 in Equine Care. I have ridden and cared for many different horses from youngstock to competition horses to veterans. Good work ethic and able to perform all yard duties to a high standard. Can work in a team or as sole charge. Can lunge, ride, ride and lead, clip, trim/pull/plait, break youngsters, handle stallions and youngstock. Can administer medication effectively and confidently.
I have ridden highly strung, sensitive horses and have broken youngsters with a kind but effective approach. I have schooled inexperienced and spooky horses into sensible well behaved rides. I have led and escorted basic hacks up to 5 day treks with riders of varied experience and have my riding road safety qualification. I have rode and led up to 4 other horses both on the road and in an open field. I can jump up to 1m competently and comfortably and work a horse in an outline with soft hands.
I have lightly competed at local level in hand with youngsters, show jumping and both in hand and ridden breed classes. I have also attended as a groom for competitions and polo matches as well as local shows.
