I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
I haven't got any qualifications to do with horses but I did do Mechanics for a year at Grimsby Institute of further and higher education, and got a qualification. But I am very keen to learn and be taught anything I need to know. I am very eager to learn and I am a quick learner once I have been shown how to do things. I'm also willing to do any training that may be necessary or go on to a college course.
I currently work for my father as a Receptionist and Administration Assistant. My fathers business is a shippping and haulage company in Stallingborough. "Davian Shipping Services LTD"
I have worked with a variety of horses in various establishments over approximately 17 years. My last job I was working at a racing yard, I have gained experience in all stable duties, tacking up/un-tacking, grooming, turning out/bringing in, clipping, feeding, mucking out, tack cleaning, and all other related yard duties/tasks. I have also had brief handling experience with competition horses on the yard, youngsters and a stallion. The only reason I left that yard is that I want to be somewhere where I am more involved with the horses, I want to get more into the competition side of things either an eventing yard/show jumping/dressage/hunting or a racing yard. I do not want to go back onto a riding school yard. I have a lot to give, and I am a very hard working young person, I just need someone to give me the chance to prove myself.
I have 17 years of experience behind me, I've worked with horses all my life and I'm looking for a long term career within the horse industry.
The type of horses I have ridden have been riding school horses/competition horses/hunters/ex racers. I can do flatwork/jump/hack out and have also been to various competition days at different riding schools for example - dressage, show jumping, indoor XC.
The only competitions I have been to have been the ones that are organised at riding schools.
