I work within a team at events such as unaffiliated weekly show jumping, british dressage and British show jumping events. I help to prepare the arena for competitions, I set up dressage boards or a course of show jumps and assist at competitions.
Currently competing at Pony Club and British Eventing with my young horse. Been successful at BE90 level and hoping to do BYEH classes and BE 5 year old classes this season. Have many pony club awards and currently working towards B Test level. I have also completed 5 weeks of work experience within an RDA riding school, gaining experience with different children and adults with disabilities and the practical car of riding school horses. Along with work experience at an RDA centre, I have worked at a professional yard for a week looking after competition horses and working with yard owner Charlotte Ridley. I currently work at Lane Farm Equestrian building show jumping courses with Keith Mcvitte and helping on the door with entries to the competitions as well as general help to the owner around the yard on competition days.
I have been awarded the pony club camp award for 2 years due to impeccable turnout of both horse and rider. I thoroughly enjoy plaiting, clipping, trimming and pulling manes and tails. Along with general yard duties, I am happy to work with others on tasks such as these or individually at a quick and efficient pace.
British Eventing up to BE100 level, pony club B Test, British Dressage - Prelim/ Novice and British Show Jumping - British Novice. I school over course of 1m+ on my horse and comfortable riding any type of horse I am often asked to ride, from a cob being difficult to a friends intermediate event horse.
I compete around the country at national events with my horse, being successful in most disciplines due to intense schooling and training. I also groom for friends when they compete at events including international events.
