Degree in Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation 2:1
I have been riding horses all my life and regularly volunteered at riding schools growing up. I often help with the care and exercising of horses at my local livery yard and have been helping with one particular horse for the last 8 years. I have handled a wide range of horses from competition to youngsters and possess a good knowledge of the equine industry.
Last summer (2017) I worked as the Horsemanship Director at Camp Yorn YMCA where I oversaw the running of the horse program. I was incharge of all lessons and the day to day care of the camp's 12 horses.
I have recently returned from Ireland where I worked at a riding holiday trecking centre. This involved teaching lessons to all level and ages or riders, leading tecks and taking out beach gallops.
Completed degree in Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation. This has given me an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of equine rehabilitation including; basic saddle fitting and farriery, nutrition, manual and therapeutic therapies and equitation.
