I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

National award in equine science
I currently work as a bar manager.
I have loved and been around horses since i was little. I started riding lessons when i was 6. When i was 9 I worked on my local yard on saturdays. As i grew older i worked more days at the yard. When i was 16 i went to college for a year. i studied equine sciences at moulton college. When i left college i got a job at tim and antonia browns yard. I worked there for a year, riding their horses, lunging, and accompanying them to events. I Loved it. After that i spent 2 years working on a farm with 4 horses and they were my fulk responsibilty. Soon after i moved about and didnt ride for a few years. When i had been up north for a few years i decided i missed riding. So i bought a beautiful ex racehorse who was 17.2hh! Since then, i have spent the last couple if years working on yards. i spent a year on a dressage yard and a year on a showing/eventing yard.
I'm an experienced rider. I'm good at jumping and cross country. I have been hunting a few times. I'm not great dressage but I can handle any horse and am confident riding on my own.
