I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
currently working in RDA but wanting to break into the eventing industry. hard working, empathetic and handy with a tool.pretty brave rider always wanting to progress as far as possible, can be flexible with hours/days working.
Multiple years of instruction under an awesome instructor in Canada, nine years of 4-H participation, and hands on experience!
Halter breaking, lunging, breaking young horses. I strive to teach a young horse all of the basics in and out of the ring. Everything from standing to have feet cleaned, clipping, loading in the trailer, right up to saddle breaking.
I've been riding horses for eleven years. I have experience in both english (jumping, dressage, and hunter under saddle) and western (pleasure, halter, and games) disciplines. I've also spent several years working with race horses as a licensed groom, and I was in a 4-H Horse club for nine years.
I specialize in colt starting and training. The young ones hold a special place in my heart and I love working with each individual horse. I work with the horse to overcome their fears and learn at a speed that is comfortable to them, for optimum results.
I ride both english and western. While english is my preference, I enjoy both and love working with horses in both disciplines.
I've been showing for just as many years as I've been riding. My mare and I have gone to the Provincial level in showing, and I've worked on a large show ranch for a year, attending large and small shows alike.
